Mauro is based where Ribera del Duero starts, but due to a local mayor not filling out the correct paperwork, it cannot use the Ribera name on the label. However, the terroir is exactly the same. Here is a modern style of red with a plush body, chewy structure and lush aromatics of cherry, spice, savory earth and chalky minerality.
