This Champagne is a tribute to the year in which Charles Philipponnat's family moved to Ay, also where the Pinot Noir comes from, while the Chardonnay comes from Oger. Bright and full of tension, the nose is delicate with aromas of almond and pear. On the palate, it is fleshy with a layered core of fruit and it pairs well with any kind of fatty dishes or even spicy ones.
