Celler la Bollidora "Flor De Garnatxa" Terra Alta Blanca 2009

LaBollidora, which means "The Bulldozer" was at one time an alcohol factory which remained decommissioned for many years. In 2005, Juan Carlos Sanchez Brianza began restoring the facilities of the old factory, in what he believed was simply a side project. With incredible dedication and hard work, it has since developed into one of the most renowned wineries in Terra Alta, having gained international recognition and many awards for their beautiful wines. The motto of La Bollidora reads “From the best vineyards, the best wine,” which is why they work with old vines and traditional varieties. In order to stay true to the nature of their grapes, everything is harvested by hand and they run through rigorous manual selection both in the vineyard and at the sorting table. This hefty white has a nose of marzipan, smoke and subtle oak, and bright acidity makes this an excellent pairing for heavier foods. A great alternative for fans of full-bodied Chardonnay.
