Taking a sip of Braulio Amaro is like standing on a freshly snow-covered mountaintop and taking a big breath of fresh air. This alpine-style Amaro has some of the same building blocks of Fernet Branca, with spearmint and euycaluptus being a few, but without the harsh, astringent bitterness and high ABV of Fernet. Aged for 2 years in oak barrels and produced in limited quantities, this sophisticated and unique Amaro has only recently been given the green light for distribution in the United States, and has developed quite the cult following from the few whom were able to steal a sip (or stow away a secret bottle) in years past.
