This wine smells as dense as it looks, offering up heaps of black currants, with hints of espresso, violets, unsweetened dark chocolate, grilled meat bone and graphite, all with a jacket of sweet, toasted oak. Big, luscious, and thick in tannins, it's huge with a spicy finish. Very minimal intervention wherever possible during vinification.
