A superb example of an Alto-Piemonte red where the high elevation and sandy soils produce Nebbiolos (with a supporting case of native grapes) that are closer to Burgundy than Barolo. This has finesse and vibrancy, with bright aromas and flavors of red currants, cherries, graphite, herbs, white pepper and leather.
