Rollin Pernand-Vergelesses Blanc 2020

Pernand-Vergelesses is an under-appreciated (and under-valued) village in the Cote de Beaune. The vineyards are located around the backside of the famed Grand Cru hill of Corton, for a fraction of the price. Rollin is one of the appellation's best producers, and the wines represent a perfect balance between richness and minerality. Flavors tend toward tart stone fruit, with hints of vanilla from judicious oak aging. A perfect "textbook" white Burgundy.
