Matured using three unique casks, Slane creates a unique and complex blend of aromas and flavors, each resulting from a different cask. Heavily toasted Virgin oak barrels impart flavors of toasted oak and vanilla, while seasoned Tennessee whiskey and Bourbon barrels lend plum, banana and butterscotch, all rounded out by Sherry casks, which finish the job by adding rich raisin and spice. A smooth and robust Irish whiskey with great, warming depth and just a slight sweetness.
