Gotsa Tavkveri 2015

From the ancient wine producing nation of Georgia, this indigenous and rare red, Tavkveri, is naturally light in color, falling somewhere on the color spectrum between a red and a rosé. This is made in the traditional way, having been fermented with ambient yeast and then aged in buried clay jars, called Amphorae (or Qvevri as they say in Georgia). The result is a light, zesty, briny and minerally red that chills very well.
