This wine expresses the pure character of the Maipo Valley. Chile’s signature grape, Carmenere, is the deepest, darkest, purply-est, of all red grapes and needs a long growing season to reach its full potential. Rich in berry fruits and spice, like blackberry and black pepper, this wine finishes with smooth, well-rounded tannins. Alvaro Espinoza is the godfather of biodynamic farming in Chile and a master of Carmenere.
