The use of a Single Pot Still is unique to Ireland and is considered to be quintessential to Midelton Whiskies. Powers Signature was crafted at the Midleton Distillery in Cork, and is a careful blend of whiskies aged in Bourbon and Sherry casks. The nose is fresh and vegetal, with fig, black pepper, nutmeg and berries, with subtle vanilla and candied nuts. The medium-bodied palate is imbued with black licorice, vanilla, cinnamon and ripe green melon, pears and apple. A long and complex finish is accented by honey and bright spice.
