This is a young Bourbon with almost twice the amount of rye than in a traditional Bourbon mash bill. What that translates to in the glass is a whiskey that has the rich body of a Bourbon, but with a bright and spicy backbone resulting from the additional rye. Notes of candy corn, mint, cinnamon stick and cocoa are easily found on the nose, and are complemented by a kiss of vanilla, oak spice and rye seed on the bold palate.
