Atxa has been at the forefront of distillation in the Basque Country in Spain for many, many years. Made from a base of neutral spirit and wine, the very traditional family recipe includes gentian, wormwood and bitter orange, among others. Fresh with floral aromas, followed by a smooth, full-bodied palate that has a hint of sweetness and delicate bitterness, this vermouth is excellent to sip on its own, or to add a beautiful, herbaceous depth to a classic martini.
