Dolin Blanc Vermouth 375ml HALF BOTTLE

The house of Dolin dates back to the early 1800s, and is the last independently owned company still producing Vermouth de Chambery. Vermouth, which derives its name for the German word for Wormwood (a classic ingredient), is a wine that has been aromatized and flavored with various botanicals. Dolin still uses real plants and the addition of real sugar, rather than artificial sweeteners and pre-prepared infusions, as many large-scale houses now use. You can think of Dolin Blanc as more of an Off-Dry Vermouth, wtih a richer body and a more pronounced sweetness than that of Dolin Dry. A perfumed nose gives off aromatics of fresh pine, sea salt and a mint, which sets the tone for a delicate and balanced palate full of elderflower, ripe white grape and citrus. Sipping this vermouth over ice with a twist of orange is a treat, but when used in cocktails, Dolin Blanc can give a beautiful herbal complexity and richer mouthfeel where dry vermouth cannot.
