There were only 700 bottles produced of this super serious orange wine from one of the best to do it! Jeff Coutelou is a real winemaker, getting his hands dirty and tattered at every step of the process from farming to vinification. From vines on a cool-climate hillside with limestone and clay soils, the grapes here undergo a two-week maceration in Amphorae and then the juice rests for a year. In spite of the tannic intensity, there's a freshness to this wine, with Springy white flower and apricot fruit.
