Brown spice, tar and licorice notes hit the nose first, followed by scents of dried herb and desiccated black fruit. Full in body, this wine bears a chewy structure, bold flavors and a long finish. This will definitely gain complexity and finesse with age but will definitely be a treat to open now. If you're not planning on cellaring, just make sure to decant at least an hour before serving with grilled game meats like Wild Boar and Lamb.
