While Malbec is often most associated with Argentina, its birthplace was actually in the mountains of SW France. Here in all its traditional glory, you'll find that it is lighter than Argentinian Malbec, but still medium in body. Unoaked flavors of tart red fruits, peppery spice, savory earth, minerals and taut tannins makes for a well-balanced and approachable Malbec.
