Fanny Fougerat is a fourth generation distiller, she is the first in her family to bottle her own cognac, and is currently the only woman doing so. This is a single barrel cognac from the Petite Champagne cru., distilled in 1973 and aged nearly half a century! It's a bold, robust brandy with complex layers of ripe apricot, wildflowers, vanilla, and ‘rancio’—the umami note only found in very old brandies. Only 510 bottles produced.
